Allyson Knapp has the courage to stand up for Kootenai voters against an incompetent, narcissistic, bully of an incumbent (Bela Kovacs). For far too long, this self-interested pretender has interpreted every criticism of his poor performance as a personal attack. He consistently tries to litigate, dissemble, and browbeat to distract voters from the manifold valid critiques of this elected official's conspicuous limitations. This year, KCRCC has refused to back him, recognizing that he is unworthy of their ongoing endorsement. We are fortunate indeed to have in Allyson Knapp an experienced, competent, diligent public servant who can restore effectiveness and professionalism to the Kootenai County Assessor's Office.
