I was born and raised right here in Coeur d’Alene, and I’m proud to call Kootenai County home. My family has been here for five generations. I raised my four sons here, built my career here—and just like you, I pay taxes here.

I never expected to run for office. But I do believe every taxpayer deserves to know their property is being assessed fairly—accurately, consistently, and with care.

For the last 30 years, I’ve worked as a professional appraiser—first licensed, then certified. I’ve completed both fee and mass appraisal work, and I previously served as Chief Deputy Assessor. I understand the technical side of valuation, and I know how this office should operate—because I’ve done the work and I know the job from the inside.

Over the last several years, I’ve watched the Assessor’s Office fall short in ways that impact real people: missed properties on the roll, missed deadlines, and wasted resources. Community members and local leaders encouraged me to step up because they know I’m qualified—and they know this office needs steady, competent leadership.

The Assessor’s Office isn’t a political job—it’s a technical one. I’m running to restore accuracy, accountability, and trust. That means protecting taxpayers, supporting staff, improving communication, and running a modern, professional office that serves the public with integrity.
